Xanax fans, ever hear of Buspar also known as Buspirone Hydrochloride to treat anxiety instead?

It is an anti anxiety medication as well apparently but I can't find much information on it. Anyone know anything about it? Is it as potent and effective as Xanax? Is it crappy crap crap? Your input is appreciated.
