I really like my friend and don't know what to do ?

So I go to high school with this girl, I meet her about a year ago when she was dating her old boyfriend... Well long story short they broke up and I was pretty much there for her through everything and ever since then we have been the best of friends... Yeah she had gone through some ruff times over the past year and I was there for all that to... Just trying to give you an idea on how much she trusts me and stuff, so as of recent I have developed the clic "i really like my best friend" problem, ive even gone as far as to tell her how I feel (we tell each other everything)... She says that she values the friendship to much to endanger it.. Though it like really messes with my head because she tells me that she loves me (as a friend) and that she really cares about me... Its gotten to the point where its hard to hang out with her because I feel so emotional attached now, worst part is, is that she told me she doesn't feel the same way... So now I'm feeling depressed and alone and I just don't know what to do anymore about this... Its really driving me crazy... O yeah and all my friends keep telling me to date her and that makes me kinda sad as well... And no she doesn't know any of my friends
