My mum won't let me pack my own bag for on holiday, what can I do?

first unsure how old you are, if your 14,15 or less i sorry, it prob is unfair and bit controlling but your mum still see's you as a child and you will not win this 1. if your older (been goin on for years quote) then try and sit her down in private no screaming and shouting (it dont work and frustrates adults more than you) and compromise saying you dont feel comfortable in what she packs and would it be ok to take a few things, asking permission goes long way and shows maturity, if she says no dont try and sneak it in cause when you get there she will see it on you and she will be even more mad and you will ruin at least a whole day of your holiday.
