What plastic plates, bottles, utensils, etc. are safe? Are Nalgene's possible problems limited to Nalgene?

If a plastic is only used once there generally aren't big problems. If you reuse any type of plastic bottles, they will degrade over time and create problems with the water, boiling and freezing of plastic accelerates the problem.
