Could improvised explosive device (IED) be detected using Synthetic-aperture radar (SAR)?

not too sure. although i think an ied would be too small to find using it. although even if they could it would be too expensive to use. imagine having to use it for every single operation. that's a lot of equipment. then you have to train people to use it. even more expensive
