Me and my boyfriend can't get along! Help!?

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 2 years and 6 months. A year ago he moved an hour away to college and things have slowly went down hill from there. He went from wanting to spend 24/7 with me to just a few hours a week because of his busy schedule, with school and work. When I do get to spend time with him he doesn't seem too interested in me being around. All these things make me feel insecure so I start griping at him. That makes him mad so he will tell me we need a break. After a few days he can't take not talking to me anymore so we get back together and everything is great for a while then it goes right back to same ole things. He says he loves me and wants to be with me forever but he just can't figure out how to fix our problems. I refuse to give up on us because I know that it's what I want. What should I do? Is it me or him or both? Also, I will be going to college where he is in June, do you think things will be better then?
