Is it o.k. to have the wedding that I never had with bridesmaid, groomsmen, ring bearer, and etc?

My husband was deployed in the military, we were not married at the time. He came home on leave for Thanksgiving and we decided to get married on Thanksgiving Day. We went to the justice of peace, now we are married. We would like to have a 5 year anniversary wedding, the wedding we never had. I want the wedding to be just like my initial dream wedding would have been. Can you give me some insight on planning my wedding. Things I should do, and the things I should not do.
