How can I get my mom to let me do what I want?

I really think you need to sit down and tell you mother how you really feel. ( with no disrespect of course) You are a grown woman and should be treated as such. I know you have great respect for your mother too. But my question to you is if your paying her 1100 for rent, don't you think it's time to move out and get your own place? That way you would not have to worry about her trying to tell you how to run your life. And also no you should not cancel your plans to go over to your guy friends house either.
